There is a difference between the left and right Twix
This myth was created by the creators of Twix. In two of the articles I read, there is nothing different about the left and right Twix. They used this rival to help advertise and sell there Twix bars. In my survey twenty-three out of the thirty-five believed it was a myth. They sell the difference between the left and right Twix as the left side has unmistakably cookie and the right side has distinctively Carmel according to the Twix website. The other major thing different is the order the cookie, Caramel and chocolate are on each side.
If your teeth are white there healthy
This is a myth according to Scoop Whoop it is proven that scientifically it is proven that your natural color of your teeth is a yellowish/grayish shade. The article talks about why its not healthy for your teeth to be that paper or tissue white everybody wants there teeth to look like. For example, it states "using products to whiten up your teeth can strip off that yellow layer that can risk terrible dental hygiene."
Stretching helps muscles relax
During my survey this was the highest number where people chose a fact when the answer is really a myth, thirty-one out of thirty-five. Beth Skwarecki says in Vitals article that "stretching doesn't provide any lasting pain relief and doesn't prevent soreness either." So many adults, like coaches and parents tell us to stretch to prevent injuries but Beth says in this article that "stretching doesn't prevent injuries." If it doesn't help with injuries or relieving pain, what does stretching do? To help your muscles warm for your activity or is that a myth too?

This is another myth, twenty- four believed it was a fact on my survey. Police officers can actually track phones in less than a minute. Jennifer Bergen states in her article that "Michigan State Police have been using a high-tech mobile forensics device that allows them to pull information from over 30,000 types of phones in less than two minutes." They explain that the device allows them to see all history from on the phone, weather that be call history, text messages, contacts, and photos.
Rain has a smell
Twenty people thought this was a fact, but its a myth. According to howstuffworks, rain doesn't have a smell but a lot of things combined seems like it has a smell. You can usually tell rain has a smell during spring or summer time when people are cutting grass. Howstuffworks also states that people might find the smell to be "actinomycetes, a type of filamentous bacteria that grows in the ground when its warm and wet." They also say that another reason people smell rain is because of the chemicals in the atmosphere.
